Mr. Cannon was named the Superintendent of the Grapevine Public Schools in 1938. The beloved leader was known for doing all the jobs in the school system; he served as football coach, bus driver, janitor & maintenance man. Cannon Elementary is named in his honor. The house remained empty for many years until the new owner purchased it in 2014.
